The Take 10 Volunteer programme is an opportunity for people from the privileged part of the world to practice solidarity politics and join forces with project leaders and developing communities in Zambia, Mozambique, Malawi and India.

The programme lasts 10 months and consists of three parts:

  • 3 months of preparation and training of volunteers at a learning centre in either Norway, Denmark or the UK.
  • 6 months of project work, learning from and working with project leaders and developing communities in Zambia, Mozambique, Malawi and India.
  • 1 month to conclude an evaluate the experience and do information actions.

 

CONTENT

Gert Tjoelker works as a teacher at DRH Lindersvold., which is one of the learning centres where Take 10 Volunteers are trained.
Gert was the teacher of the Take 10 pioneer volunteers who are currently working at projects in Zambia and Malawi.

Gert will talk about the ideas, methods and visions of the programme.
