Collaborative Communication

2023, 2nd session Saturday, Workshop

Sally Duckers

Collaborative Communication

Duration: 2 hours

VENUE: PTG

CONTENT

The workshop focuses on creating strength based, person centred and outcome focussed conversations. In essence, the workshop will show the power of deep listening to help support better outcomes for people.

“I believe the solution for a better future will come through skilled listening and hearing the voices of many disenfranchised people as well as moving away from the culture wars that prevent people from truly listening to opposing views.

Collaborative Communication is a powerful tool that empowers the speaker to find their own solutions to the challenges before them. The listeners use reflective practice and open questions to allow the speaker to go deeper in their thoughts and express themselves.

The future needs to be created collaboratively and cooperatively and I believe Collaborative Communication is a tool that can support a kind and collective conversation.”
